(N scale) H28401 E-Lok Re 4/4 IV (10103) SBB, Ep.IV. For the SBB's Railway 2000 project, BBC and SLM manufactured four prototypes of a four-axle electric locomotive made of light steel construction. The locomotives, known as Re 4/4 IV at the SBB, were intensively tested at the SBB from 1982 onwards. With the 160 km/h fast locomotives, not only the new rectifier technology was tested, but also new color schemes - so all four machines were given different paint jobs. It was only from 1986 that the Re 4/4 IV received a uniform color scheme in traffic red with the Bahn 2000 advertising.
