(HOm scale) Salon coach AB4 104 Golden Mountain Pullman Express of the Montreux-Oberland-Bernois MOB railway in traditional blue and cream livery. Following the First World War, the Compagnie Internationale de Wagons Lits & des Grands Express Européens (CIWL), the jewel of Franco-British economic power, was bitterly competing on the European railway network with its in German rival the MITROPA Company. During the '20s in Switzerland the CIWL provided a luxury service on the Swiss Federal Railway network but the power struggle with MITROPA was waged on the private railways of the Alpine tourist lines. So it was that MITROPA introduced a restaurant service on the Rhaetian Railways with luxury dining cars. The CIWL reacted by creating the legendary "Golden Mountain Pullman Express" with the help of the MOB Railway . The CIWL ordered four Pullman carriages from SIG, Nos. 103 to 106, which were delivered to Montreux in 1931. This salon coach can be matched to the 1282301 FZe6/6 locomotive for a prototypical historic formation. Epoch II-V, full interiors, length: 189mm.
