(HO scale 3-rail AC) Four unit diesel railcar set class DMU C41 of the Belgian State Railways SNCB in yellow, gray and white livery. At the end of the 90’s, the Belgian Railways Company had an urgent need of 2-elements Railcars for passenger trains on secondary lines, for IR, Local and Rush-hour trains. This railcar was named AR41, and the Belgian Railways ordered a total of 96 units by Alstom in , those being delivered between 1999 and 2003. AR41’s are riding all over in , in the Flat coutry of Flanders as in more challenging areas like the Athus-Meuse and the Ardennes . The Units are located in the following engines facilities : Hasselt, 29 units, Merelbeke (Gand) 41 units, Charleroi : 15 units, Stockem (Arlon) : 11 units. In Rush-hour time, the AR41 are riding in consists of two (or more) coupled Units. In Summer season, an important connection between Mol and the seaside station of De Panne is opened, and 5-units consists of AR41 are riding between those two cities, as well as between Namur and Houyet, to move people who are riding kayaks on the river Lesse from Houyet to Dinant (that’s why this train is named “Kayak Train”).Model is for the three rail Marklin system and is equipped with digital decoder. Epoch V, Digital complete, white/red bi-directional lights, double cardanic transmission on all 8 wheels with flywheels, metal chassis, short coupling.
