(HO scale) Rodgear electric locomotive class Da of the Swedish State railways SJ in maroon livery. In the years from 1953 to 1960 ASEA built 93 multi-purpose type-Da electric locomotives for the Swedish national railroad (SJ). These rod-driven electric locomotives with the 1’C1’ axle sequence weigh 75 tons and have an output of 1840 kW; they run at 100 km/h and are doubleheading-capable. In the mid-Nineties several machines were sold to private Swedish railroads and are still being run by them. Epoch III-IV, bi-directional lights, metal chassis, Digital ready with NEM 652 interface, operating pantographs, length: 151mm.
