It was one of the numerous special trains that drove from all over Germany to Hanover in 1971. The D1041 started in Duisburg and went via Essen, Altenessen, Dortmund and Hannover Hbf before it reached its end station in Hannover Messe. The train consists of 5x 1st class carriages of type A4ümg-54, as well as a dining car and a half-dining car. Hobbytrain puts the D1041 in cooperation with L.S. Models for the gauge H0.
