(N scale) Four axle diesel locomotive class BR112 of the German Deutsche Reichsbahnen DR burgundy livery. The first 40 locomotives of the series V 100 with 736 kW engine power were delivered to the DR in 1966/67. However, their power proved to be inadequate for some uses. After a lengthy series of tests, some of the locomotives were fitted with 883 kW (1,200 hp) engines in 1981, and in 1983 some were even built with 1,100 kW (1,500 hp) engines. The converted locomotives were given the new type numbers 112 and 114 while keeping the former serial numbers. Epoch IV, bi-directional headlights, length: 192mm.
