(HO scale) Two axle salt wagon type Ku of the German Wuerttemberg railways KWStE in maroon livery. From 1909 onwards, the K.W.St.E.’s freight cars were gradually repainted in accordance with the Staatsbahn Wagenverband’s regulations. The 1863 salt cars were also painted brown. They were used to transport cooking salt to consumers from the Württemberg salt mine in Kochendorf. The freight hopper was covered with flaps to protect the moisture-sensitive salt from atmospheric influence. Epoch I, die cast metal body and frame, NEM couplers, length: 97mm.
