These three-part engines have been the work horses in the Kiruna-Narvik line connecting the ore rich Swedish north to the Norwegian port of Narvik. Wheel arrangement 2-8+8+8-2. Permanently coupled triple locomotive with close-coupling mechanism between the three parts and at the ends. Body plastic, frame die-cast metal, the two outer locomotive parts are driven by one motor each. 2 x 2 flywheels, drive on eight axles, eight wheels with traction tyres Epoch V, bi-directional lights, Digital ready with NEM652 interface, metal chassis, operating pantographs, twin flywheels, length: 405mm.
