BRAWA 1250 DR BR E77 articulated rodgear drive electric
(N scale) Heavy 2-4-4-2 three-part articulated electric locomotive class E77 10 of the German Deutsche Reichsbahn in green livery . The E 77 was planned as a multi-purpose locomotive for pulling both passenger and goods trains. The locomotive originally designated as EG 3 came from the Bergmann works and Maffei-Schwartzkopf. The undercarriage was divided in two and the superstructure in three, in order to be mobile in the curves. The locomotive was certified for a top speed of 65 km/h. A 20-pole motor transferred its torque via a Winterthur slanting rod drive to the two driving axles with a diameter of 1400 mm. The last locomotive, the E 77 10 has been preserved as serviceable locomotive in the Dresden Traffic Museum. Epoch II-V, triple bi-directional lights, metal frame, Digital ready with soldering points, length: 103mm.
