From 1912, the Prussian State Railway purchased the first D-train cars of an "iron construction type". It was only the when the car construction programs were started at beginning of the 30s that the DRG began to have more unit cars than Prussian D-train cars on stock. There were even more of these cars at DB and DR. The Prussian D-train cars only disappeared from the tracks when the DB started its conversion program and the DR its reconstruction program. Their bogies, buffer blocks and other car parts lived on for a long time in other converted vehicles. Epoch II, full interiors, NEM couplers, length: 235mm.
